I started off NYE with a fun Tabata workout at CFB. 20 sec work, 10 sec rest x8.

Pistols (I subbed single leg squats)
Ring pull ups (I subbed body weight rows on the rings)
Row for calories
I used the barbell for the push presses and didn’t hit myself in the face or embarrass myself in any way which is basically a miracle. I enjoyed this workout and my legs were shaking by the end. The challenge of the day was 5 rope climbs for time so I decided to try a few out to get the technique down.
After CrossFit, I went home to get ready to head up to Big Sky to visit my sister, Gretchen. My friend Nick and I got there around 10 and it was super cold – I think it was around 7 degrees. Of course I decided to wear cute lace shorts instead of something functional but I had my fleece lined tights so I survived. We ended up going to the Broken Spoke and we ran into our friend Britt which was awesome. All in all I’d say it was a pretty great night. I can’t wait to see what 2013 brings!
